The compact beta.f fine filtration unit was developed on the basis of years of experience.

It operates continuously in a bypass connection to the dampening solution tank of the circulator.

It relies on a two-step filtration method. The pre-filter system with its filter cartridges is used to pre-clean the dampening solution and to relieve the strain on the main filter module.

The main filter is used for intensive cleaning of the dampening solution, using a powerful deep-bed filter.

The quality of the filter modules is monitored by integrated pressure sensors.

The result of this continuous bypass cleaning process is a perfectly decontaminated dampening solution and a clean system, from the dampening solution tank to the dampening solution trays of the printing units.

Since the dampening solution system requires only minimal cleaning, the operating costs are reduced drastically while press availability is maximised.

The softflow filter system has set a new standard for efficient dampening solution filtration.

Thanks to a filter material that was specially developed for use with dampening solution and a particularly large filter area (up to 300% compared to normal mat filters), the filter service life is now three to six times longer than that of conventional mat filters.

The filter systems of nearly all dampening solution circulators and combination units (i.e. also of older units) can be replaced by the new softflow filter system.
