2004-05-06: drupa 2004: technotrans adds refrigeration units for
web offset presses to its product range
Increasing demand for system solutions from a single source both from printing press manufacturers and from international end customers has prompted technotrans' decision to start supplying refrigeration units for web offset.

As a systems supplier of refrigeration and temperature control technology for the printing industry, in this domain too technotrans possesses the cross-systems expertise that is essential in view of the increasingly complex requirements of web presses.

The units are available in a variety of versions under the umbrella designation perfectcool. Depending on project requirements, versions such as compact systems with aircooled chiller, split systems or cooling-tower systems, in each case including the complete pump and control technology, can be supplied.

As well as worldwide service and support, this new technotrans product range naturally encompasses the corresponding engineering, as well as handling of the entire assembly process. A number of orders from both Germany and elsewhere have already been received in the run-up to the DRUPA, including as the refrigeration unit for the new KBA Compacta 217 that is installed at the DRUPA.
